Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aventoura (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website at aventoura.com.tn and our mobile application. By using Aventoura, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

Aventoura is a platform that lets travelers discover and book guided outdoor trips offered by Aventoura and partner agencies. We are the controller of the personal data described below.

2. Data we collect

We collect information that you provide and that is needed to run your account and bookings:

  • Identity and contact: first name, last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, governorate, and (when you book a domestic trip) national identity card number.
  • Account: password (stored hashed), language preference, and a unique user ID.
  • Bookings: trip details, dates, pickup and drop-off, additional travelers, optional notes, chosen payment method (for example cash or bank transfer — we do not collect card numbers in the app), and social profile URL if you include one on an international inquiry.
  • User content: reviews (rating and comment), wishlist, agencies you follow, and an optional reason if you delete your account.
  • We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts from your phone, photos from your camera roll, device advertising IDs, or in-app advertising data in the mobile app.

3. How we use your data

We use this data only to operate Aventoura: create and secure your account, verify your email, process bookings and inquiries, share the details an agency needs to run the trip, show reviews after they are approved, save your wishlist and follows, provide customer support, and comply with law.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for third-party advertising or for tracking you across other companies’ apps or websites.

4. Who we share data with

Partner agencies receive the booking information required to host you (name, contact details, dates, party size, and similar trip logistics).

Service providers that host our website, API, email delivery, and (on the website only) audience measurement tools such as Meta Pixel and ContentSquare may process data on our instructions.

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

5. Website cookies and analytics

The website may use cookies and similar technologies, including Meta Pixel and ContentSquare, to understand how the site is used. The mobile app does not include those advertising or analytics SDKs.

6. Retention

We keep account and booking data for as long as your account is active and as needed for bookings, legal, and accounting purposes. If you delete your account, we disable access and free your email and phone so they can be used for a new account. Booking records may be kept for our and the agency’s operational and legal records.

7. Your rights

You may access and update profile information in the app or website. You may delete your account in the app (Security → Delete account). Step-by-step instructions are at aventoura.com.tn/delete-account. You may contact us at contact@aventoura.tn to ask about access, correction, or deletion, subject to legal retention duties.

8. Children

Aventoura is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of Aventoura after an update means you accept the revised policy.
